It’s impossible to start encouraging generosity too early. If children and young people cultivate habits of giving generously at a young age, these habits may last a life time.
Young People Giving for Life
Young People Giving for Life is a new resource developed by Steve Cumberland in the diocese of Southwell & Nottingham. It is a five week course which aims to help young people as they think through their commitment to God, to their church and to the wider community. It will enable course members to –
- Think seriously about their giving of time, talents and money
- To consider carefully and prayerfully the effect that their decisions may have on others
- To learn more of God’s generosity
The course is designed to be very hands on, creative, interactive, thought provoking and challenging but, most of all, it is designed to be fun!
