The ‘Giving for Life’ congregational leaflet was part of the original set of ‘Giving for Life’ resources, and is designed to accompany a congregational talk which introduces the principles of Christian giving. The leaflet can then be taken away by church members to aid reflection on a series of key questions.
The talk has two key elements :
- God is the ultimate owner of everything – all that we have, and all that we are, comes from Him.
- When we give to others we also give to God
Downloads are available for the Giving for Life congregational leaflet (pdf), the Talk outline (Word) and an accompanying PowerPoint presentation. Copies of the leaflet can be ordered from the ‘Order Resources’ page. (To distinguish it from other leaflets, we refer to it as the original or jigsaw leaflet.)
The programme can be used alongside an invitation to church members to renew their pledges for regular giving. A Standing Order / pledge form to do this can be found here
