PARISH FUNDING PROGRAMME

This section provides guidance on running a parish funding programme to increase a church's regular giving to fund its plans for mission and ministry. Grateful thanks are acknowledged to the Diocese of Guildford, and to Tony Hennessey-Brown who developed this package. 

The principal download is the Parish Funding Programme Guide. This contains the instructions to run the programme, and contains links to the downloads below which you will find useful in running the Parish Funding Programme :

Three sample programme presentations are provided : Example 1, Example 2, Example 3

Sample templates are offered for the Parish Leaflet and Response Form. These are in Word format so they are easily customisable.

Other support resources for the programme include a leaflet to help train the 'contact team', 'Steps in Giving' which can be used to supplement the teaching programme and an evaluation form for use after the funding programme is completed.

Parishes who have not developed a clear vision may find the set of resources offered for a Vision Day : an agenda, a survey for pre-work, a form for consolidating responses to the survey and a template for action steps.
