SPECIAL BULLETINS TO UPDATE PILOT PARISHES

This page is only for parishes in the dioceses of Sheffield and Coventry. These dioceses are piloting the registration process, and specific training sessions have been delivered.  If you are from another diocese, please do NOT use these materials yet.    

Vulnerable Adults

Guidance from the Legal Office suggests that the definition of working with vulnerable adults essentially only relates to residential care homes. PCCs should therefore not be working with vulnerable adults.   

Online Registration

The Charity Commission is willing for pilot parishes to submit their applications using their Online system, OLAR, with immediate effect. Submission via OLAR can therefore be done ahead of 1st October, whilst submission on the paper form will need to wait until then.  The online system collects the same information as the paper form.
